GiveNOLA Day 2016!!!

Dear JPAS Champions,

America is apparently being so generous for Give Local America that Give Local websites across the country – including the GiveNOLA Day website – are having problems accepting online donations.

The Greater New Orleans Foundation issued a statement at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, outlining the process for people to follow since the website is working intermittently.

Gretchen Hirt, spokeswoman for the Greater New Orleans Foundation, said donations to the 700-plus area nonprofits still need to go through the Greater New Orleans Foundation system so the nonprofits can be eligible for Lagniappe Fund dollars.

Donating for GiveNOLA Day can be done in two ways:

  • Call the Greater New Orleans Foundation at 504-598-4663. Note: Due to the high volume of calls, we may not be able to respond immediately. If you encounter this scenario, email your contact information to We will contact you as soon as possible.
  • Continue to check donate online when the GiveNOLA Day website is back up.

We greatly appreciate our JPAS Champions.  You make our dream of providing a wide range of theatrical performances and educational opportunities a reality. In the event making a gift through GiveNOLA Day is not possible, if you would like to help above and beyond, please consider donating directly through PayPal to JPAS:

Your support helps us continue our mission of promoting arts performance, training, and outreach by providing a diverse range of quality programs that entertain, educate and enrich the cultural and economic vitality of Jefferson Parish, Greater New Orleans and the Gulf South.
