Bonafide Yoga & Wellness professional, creative, and dedicated Yoga/Fitness Instructor Julie Holman is endorsed by the Holistic Nurses Association on a quest to share the benefits of
practicing movement while intersecting fun with genuine desire to motivate and educate - one breath at a time. For 25 years Julie’s provided a unique service as a mobile wellness & fitness provider. A self-care advocate and peaceful wellness activist internationally certified in a variety of healing art and fitness modalities, she specializes in serving underserved populations include the elderly, youth at risk, marginalized and indigenous populations. Merging her life path as an award-winning visual storyteller while mindfully serving as a Nurse in the specialty of Hospice and Palliative care for over 34 years, Julie aims to create an environment of non-judgment and inviting space for all ages.

Benefits of Yoga/Movement, Meditation & Breathwork
- Yoga is a mind-body exercise that combines breathing exercises, physical postures, breathwork and meditation. It has been practiced for more than 5,000 years and has been found to relieve many of the ailments associated with aging, anxiety, depression, motivation and focus.
- Evidence based studies have proven that Yoga is good for the mind, body and spirit. Yoga is also a great low impact workout and an effective way for seniors/ chair-bound/ people with mobility and balance challenges to stay active while keeping their risk of injury to a minimum.
- Yoga & movement classes are for all levels and can be modified for those in a wheelchair, work-space as well as those able to stand and move about freely.
- Guided breathwork and meditation are credited with a host of health benefits including: improved breathing, better flexibility, joint health, and reduced high blood pressure.
- Participants may engage as self-determined. Visual and verbal instructions and demonstrations are offered to ensure safety at all times.

Fusing a creative path as an Emmy nominated award winning filmmaker in TV & Film with a career as a compassionate Hospice & Palliative Nurse educator and quality of life advocate for nearly 30 years, Julie founded Bonafide Yoga & Wellness, a mobile provider- serving underserved, marginalized and Indigenous populations. Certified in a variety of healing modalities and endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), Julie proudly served on the National Yoga Alliance Education Committee for 4 years, and received numerous accolades for her contributions to the arts, TV/film and worked with city and state cultivating community wellness programs for the elderly and youth at risk. Fun fact: She also practiced Yoga with Dr.OZ on two episodes of AZ TV3. Julie is the Host/Producer of WHIV-102.3FM’s Independent Voices weekly radio show, Creative Director of Independent Voices International Health & Justice Film Festival, served on the board of Women in Film & Television International/Louisiana Chapter. She is a contributing writer with Natural Awakenings, Edible and VeganNews.
