This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as “the relationship.” Through sketches and songs, Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, “Say, what are you doing Saturday night?”
This performance contains adult language and content that may not suitable for children under 16 year old.

Rachel Looney

Rachel Looney is excited and grateful to return to JPAS! Previous JPAS credits include School of Rock (Rosalie Mullins), Steel Magnolias (Shelby), Cinderella (Ella), The Rocky Horror Show (Janet Weiss), and How to Kill a Diva (Abelinda). Recently, Rachel starred as Marian Paroo in The Music Man with Summer Lyric Theatre at Tulane , made her debut with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in “A Night on Broadway,” at the Lafon Performing Arts Center, and performed the role of Chan Parker in Charlie Parker’s Yardbird with the New Orleans Opera . Other stage credits include A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Phoebe) Le Petit Theatre, Rameau’s Pygmalion (La statue animée) New Orleans Opera, The Music Man (Marian Paroo) Rivertown Theatres, Into the Woods (Rapunzel) Rivertown Theatres, and the Victory Belles of the National WWII Museum. Rachel is a graduate of LSU and Loyola. In addition to her stage work, Rachel is also a screen actor. John Michael Haas

John Michael Haas (Man # 1) is so grateful for the opportunity to be returning to JPA after living in Texas for the past 7 years. Favorite JPA credits include West Side Story (Tony), My Fair Lady (Freddy), Tarzan the Musical (Clayton), Fully Monty (Malcolm), and The Light in the Piazza (Giuseppe.) By day, John is the Senior Head Coach at Orangetheory Fitness Metairie and loves being able to help people achieve their fitness goals while having fun! John would like to thank Michelle, Dennis, the creative staff, and the cast for being such brilliant collaborators. John holds a Bachelors of Music: Musical Theatre Performance from Oklahoma City University. Go Stars!

Katie Kitchen

Katie Kitchen is ecstatic to be in that number when the Saints go marching in, especially in her principal debut with JPA! She graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with a BA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. While born and raised in New Orleans, Katie also spends her time touring the country with The National Theatre for Children to perform educational shows for several schools and organizations, through which she has performed all over the country. Some of her past credits include Billy Elliot (Ensemble), The Polar Express Train Ride (Bailey), School of Rock (Ensemble), Sondheim on Sondheim (Company), The Stonewater Rapture (Carlyle), Legally Blonde (Serena), Girls Like That (Girl In Shoulder Pads), Songs For A New World (Woman 1), and more. Special thanks to everyone at JPA for this opportunity to originate a role in a musical as well as this amazing cast and crew. Nathan Parrish

Nathan Parrish is grateful to appear in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. His recent credits include Cal in Waitress, roles in Jekyll & Hyde, Dewey Finn in School of Rock, and Jesus Christ Superstar, all with JPAS. He also appeared as Charlie in Kinky Boots at Cutting Edge Theater.

Nathan teaches voice and guitar, performs in a cover band, and holds a Bachelor’s in Performing Arts from Southeastern Louisiana University. He is thankful to the JPAS community for their continued support and opportunities.
