Ken Goode is a NOLA native. A seasoned performer with over sixty productions on stage, he recently returned to directing this year with Anything Goes at Summer Lyric Theatre at Tulane University. After wanting to direct Jekyll and Hyde now for well over a decade, he was thrilled to be given the chance to bring the show to life here at JPA.

Tyler Walls (Dr. Henry Jekyll/Edward Hyde) is over-the-top excited to be making his JPAS debut in this production. He has dreamt of playing these characters since the first time he heard the music at the age of 11. He is a Kansas City based actor who was last seen on tour with The Last Adam: A New Musical (Jesus). Some of his other favorite past productions include Amazing Grace the Musical (John Newton), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph), and Into the Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince). He has been a performer as long as he can remember, and is also currently the lead singer in a country music trio, Cypress Fyre whose debut album released in January of this year. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his 11 year old son, Lincoln, and so many more of his amazing friends and family. He would like to thank all of his family and friends for their love and support. So much love to all those who have traveled both near and far to see this show! This truly is a dream come true!
HENRY JEKYLL / EDWARD HYDE
Stephanie has been in love with the music in this show since she used “Someone Like You” to audition for A Christmas Carol when she was eleven. Since then, she’s done a few more shows. Some favorite recent credits include: Follies in Concert at Carnegie Hall (Transport Group) Pippin (Catherine; Tulane SLT), Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt; Tulane SLT), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Cynthia Weil; Le Petit Theatre), Kinky Boots (Nicola; NCL) Grease (Marty, u/s Sandy, Rizzo, RCCL), Jersey Boys (Ogunquit Playhouse), Matilda (Miss Honey; Tulane SLT), The Wild Party (Queenie), Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), Into the Woods (Cinderella), Polkadots (Atlantic Theatre Company), and she was a proud touring member of Bob Hope’s USO Show Troupe. She has her BFA in Musical Theatre from TCU, and an MA, Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky. Currently, you can find her teaching for Barre3 New Orleans and F45 Garden District. LUCY HARRIS
Monique Abry Knoepfler (Emma Carew) is ecstatic to be back in New Orleans and performing on the JPAS stage for the first time since Nunsense! (Sister Mary Leo) in 2008. Born and raised in New Orleans, she graduated from Dominican High School and moved away to pursue a BM in Music Theater from Oklahoma City University. After graduation she moved to Dallas, TX where she performed regionally with Dallas Theater Center (Tony Award Winning Regional Theater 2017), Casa Mañana, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, WaterTower Theater, Dallas Children’s Theater, Theatre3, and Contemporary Theatre of Dallas. Some favorite credits include The Last Five Years (Cathy), Hair (Crissy), Little Women the Musical (Jo), and Into the Woods (Cinderella). She also toured nationally in A Year With Frog and Toad, and for multiple holiday seasons with Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (Mrs. Donner). After her tenure in Dallas, she relocated to New York City where she performed in multiple concerts at the cabaret venue 54 Below. Most recently she appeared in The Transport Group’s Follies concert at Carnegie Hall. She is over the moon to be back on stage in New Orleans, and to finally be in a musical with her best friend/sister-in-law, Stephanie Abry. Huge thanks to Ken and Dennis for giving us this opportunity! Also, thanks to my incredible support system: my family, friends, and my husband Eric.

Luke Sirinides (Simon Stride) is pleased to return to JPAS after last season’s Jesus Christ Superstar. Recent GNO credits include Assassins and A Christmas Story at Rivertown. Other favorite roles: Jack in Into the Woods, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sky Masterson in Guys & Dolls. Before moving to New Orleans, Luke worked for Broadway producer Eva Price on the original Broadway production of Peter and the Starcatcher, as well as the revival of Annie, and the first national tour of The Addams Family. Luke has sung as a tenor with the New Orleans Symphony Chorus in their performances of Haydn’s Creation, Handel’s Messiah, and Mozart’s Requiem, among others. He is also a writer and playwright with an MFA from UNO. Thanks to Maestro, Ken, and the whole cast and crew for another great season at JPAS!
SIMON STRIDE
Lalanya Gunn is excited to return to the JPAS stage having appeared in The Addams Family, Shrek, and Sweet Potato Queens. She has been performing for over 30 years. She has also directed Steel Magnolias for RRDG and hopes to continue directing in the area. She holds a BFA in Theater from Niagara University and is currently working on her MFA in Theater Education at MUW. Love to Greg for is enduring support and her fur babies. Valka and Kylo.

Adriel Aviles is happy to be on the JPAS stage once more! Most recently, Aviles was The Monster in Young Frankenstein here at JPAS. Other shows include TWTC’s production of The Night of the Iguana, In the Heights, Holiday Inn, Shrek The Musical, and The Hunckback of Notre Dame at JPAS. Aviles would like to thank his family and friends for their constant support, as well as the team at JPAS for allowing him to continue being a part of their productions.

Paul Bello, a native New Orleanian, joins In the Heights after most recently appearing earlier this season in JPAS' Shrek the Musical, as a Three Little Pig, and last season in Arsenic and Old Lace as Officer Klein and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as Chief Bromden. Previous JPAS appearances include Caroline, or Change as Mr. Stopnick. He previously appeared as Snipes in Tarzan the Musical. He originated the roles of both Gabi and the Gris Gris Man in the original Nancy Gregory work, Jambalaya the Musical. He also has appeared in JPAS productions of Funny Girl, Mary Poppins, Sister Act, the opera Rigoletto, Light in the Piazza, and My Fair Lady, in the roles of Gonzorgo in Babes in Toyland, Dick Deadeye in H.M.S. Pinafore, Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Pawnee Bill in Annie Get Your Gun, The Duke/Dr. Carrasco in Man of La Mancha, Yussel in Fiddler on the Roof, and as Reg Willoughby in The Full Monty. Paul has also appeared as Peron in Evita, Sgt. Carlino in Wait Until Dark, The Beadle in A Christmas Carol, Miles Gloriosus, in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, at Rivertown Reperatory (Now Rivertown Theatres); as Big Julie, in Guys and Dolls, Sir Lionel in Camelot, the Grand Inquisitor in Candide, the Finance Man in Sunset Boulevard at Tulane Summer Lyric; Pedro in Man of La Mancha. Nathan Long is an actor based in New Orleans. They are currently a pursuing a B.A. in Musical Theatre at Loyola University New Orleans. They've most recently been seen in School of Rock at JPAS (Ensemble), Sweeney Todd at Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre (Ensemble), Jesus Christ Superstar at JPAS (Philip the Apostle, Urinetown at Loyola University New Orleans (Officer Barrel), and more. Nathan is ecstatic to return back to the JPAC stage and is thankful to their friends and family.

Barry James Acosta is excited to make his JPAS debut with Jekyll and Hyde. A New Orleans Native, Barry received his BA in Theatre from Centenary College of Louisiana. Recently Barry was seen competing in the Miss Glamouresse Pageant as Miss Great Plains in Pageant and as Trent Oliver in The Prom at Rivertown Theaters. Some of Barry’s favorite credits include: Larry (The Boys in the Band), Trevor (The Play that Goes Wrong), Appointment with Death (Jefferson Cope), The Tempest (Stephano), Spring Awakening (Hanschen), Big Love (Giuliano), and Pangaea (Georgie Cromwell). Outside of theater, Barry dreams of going on Survivor and Big Brother, writing movies, and eating tacos and drinking margaritas. Michael John Smith: A graduate of Tulane University (BFA Musical Theatre), Michael has been a part of the New Orleans performing arts community since 2006, with the United States Marine Corps Band, Summer Lyric Theatre at Tulane, Jefferson Performing Arts Society, the World War II Museum, and Rivertown Theaters. His first performance with JPAS was as Malcom Beinecke in Addams Family (2021), and he is thrilled to be back for the 2024-2025 season with School of Rock and Jekyll & Hyde.
Smith is a retired Marine Corps officer (32 years), including 3 combat deployments, the Director of the Marine Corps Band New Orleans, and the Head of Marine Corps Field Music at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Currently, he teaches high school seniors at the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy as a Senior Marine Instructor.
Past local production highlights include Santa Meets Sousa, a Marine Corps Toys for Tots Holiday Spectacular (Principal Conductor), Captain O’Hurley in two productions of FLY - The Tuskegee Airman Story, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Sheriff), Newsies! (Joseph Pulitzer), Assassins (The Proprietor), A Christmas Story (Ralphie’s Old Man), and King Charlemagne in Pippin.
GABRIEL JOHN UTTERSON
Ty Robbins (Bissett the Apothecary)- is excited to return to JPAS! He holds a BFA in Acting from Oklahoma City University. Originally from New Orleans, Ty is a second-year graduate actor seeking his MFA at UNOs School of the Arts. He most recently was seen in the city joining Mélange Dance Company.
Ty is a vocalist at St. Paul's Episcopal in Lakeview. He has found work both on the stage and in theme parks.

BISSETT THE APOTHECARY / ENSEMBLE
Peter Gabb, character actor, is glad to be working again with JPAS. He was last seen in "Arsenic & Old Lace" as Rev. Harper and Mr. Gibbs, and one of the card playing residents in "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest". Earlier he has played a variety of characters such as Herr Zeller in "Sound of Music" and in "My Fair Lady" one of Alfred Doolittle's drinking buddies. He has also appeared in some film and TV, most well known the pawnshop owner in "Green Book". Besides that he performs mime and one performance is on Youtube -- "The Fishing Guilt Trip".

Andrew Butler (Spider the Pimp), is an award-winning baritone, New Orleans native, Brother Martin Alumni, and a passionate artist in both the realms of music and visual arts. Having just graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University, this will be Andrew’s first performance since earning his Bachelor’s degree. But prior to this graduation, Andrew was a Southern Regional NATS 1st Place winner of the Senior Division in 2022, and a Southern Regional NATS 2nd Place Finalist of the Advanced Upper Level in 2023. Most recently, Andrew participated in the international program La Musica Lirica, which enabled him to make his operatic debut in Italy as Ford in Giuseppe Verdi’s “Falstaff.”
Outside of performance halls and stages, Andrew constructs large scale sculptures from the remains of broken musical instruments, giving them a second life. His most recent series, “The Searing Roar of Air” is on display in New Orleans at 538 Wilkinson Street.
SPYDER THE PIMP / ENSEMBLE
Jacob Huffty (Ensemble/Jekyll & Hyde U/S) is a Baton Rouge native making his debut with JPAS in Jekyll & Hyde. He is a senior music student at Loyola University of New Orleans where he is receiving training in classical voice. Recently he was seen in his professional debut at Mobile Opera as Antonio in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, and this past summer he appeared as the Marquis in Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmelites as well as Nardo in Galluppi’s comic opera Il filosofo di campagna in Urbania, Italy. With Loyola Theatre, he appeared as Caldwell B. Cladwell in their 2023 production Urinetown. Jacob is super excited to perform at JPAS with such incredible talent!
JEKYLL & HYDE UNDERSTUDY / ENSEMBLE
Virginia Borne is thrilled to be returning to the JPA stage for Jekyll and Hyde! She was last seen in JPA’s production of Ballet Goes to Broadway (dancer/featured singer) and has also been a part of their previous productions of Jesus Christ Superstar (Angel) and Holiday Inn (Ensemble). Jekyll and Hyde has always been one of her dream shows and she would like to thank Ken Goode for allowing her to be a part of JPA’s facade. Thanks also to her husband, Brad, and her three children: Seth, Nathan, and Brendan for their constant support and amazing group hugs.

Danny Rubio (Ned Schneebly) was most recently seen on the JPAC stage in Young Frankenstein and Jesus Christ Superstar. He embarked on a journey to become a true song and dance man 24 months ago, after a 20-year hiatus since he last performed at BAMA. Since then, he has appeared in four Rivertown productions, six shows with The Company of St. Bernard, and has been tapping at NODA.

Sasha Munchak is thrilled to perform with JPA again. Recent credits include School of Rock, Jesus Christ Superstar, Young Frankenstein, Holiday Inn, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker (JPA), Singin’ in the Rain, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Mary Poppins, and Cabaret (Rivertown), and Anything Goes (SLT), as well as various ballet productions with Jefferson Ballet Theatre. Originally from Scranton, PA, Sasha began her dance training with Linn McDonald, and studied at the Rockette Summer Intensive, the American Dance Festival, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's Teachers Workshop. Sasha is an ABT® Certified Teacher, and successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She teaches dance and works as the studio director at New Orleans Dance Academy, and works as a recruiter with Adeeta Corporate Staffing. She recently earned her MBA at UNO. She thanks Ken and the entire cast and crew for this wonderful experience.

Ryan Kelly-Moore (Ensemble) obtained his B.A. at the University of Southern Mississippi Theatre program where he performed in various productions at USM and in the community. This is his second show with JPAS. Some of his favorite roles include Next to Normal (Henry), Phantom of the Opera (Ensemble/Piangi Understudy), Into the Woods (Ensemble), and Spring Awakening (Ensemble). Other favorite roles include Les Misérables (Javert), CATS (Skimbleshanks), and Radio Gals (Mr. Abbott).

Nathan Parrish (ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of this production! Nathan recently appeared as Dewey Finn School of Rock: the Musical and in Jesus Christ Superstar; both at JPAS. He was also Charlie Price in Kinky Boots at Cutting Edge Theater. He holds a Bachelor's in Music Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University and has composed music for Southeastern's dance program. Nathan has performed in numerous theater productions at Cutting Edge Theater in Slidell and 30 by 90 in Mandeville. In addition to his theater work, he plays guitar and sings in his own acoustic cover band, CallTime, and teaches vocal lessons.

Ti Zampino (they/he) is a 2023 graduate from the Loyola University College of Music and Media. He has been performing and working in theatre throughout his educational journey for the past 9 years. They’ve been coached vocally both classically and for musical theatre for 6 years, and having been singing since childhood, having been raised with an opera singer for a mother. They began performing professionally with Tulane Summer Lyric in Oliver (2023), the Jefferson Performing Arts Center in The View Upstairs (2023) and Jesus Christ Superstar (2024), and Mélange Dance Company’s The Upstairs Lounge (2024). He is extremely excited to work with JPAS this season in School of Rock and Jekyll and Hyde, and looks forward to future opportunities to work with them.

Gabriella Santalla (Ensemble) is a Cuban-American actress based in New York City & New Orleans. Gabriella is a recent Loyola University New Orleans graduate with a BA in Musical Theatre! You can catch her on the JPA stage again in Murder on the Nile in February as Jacqueline de Severac! Zane Syjansky, a current graduate from Loyola University, is honored and grateful to be in his second production with JPA. Shelby Wynne is overjoyed to be back on the JPAS stage after making her debut in "Sweet Potato Queens." Earlier this year, she portrayed M'Lynn Eatenton in "Steel Magnolias" with the River Region Drama Guild. Shelby wants to thank the brilliant cast, crew, and creative team for making this journey so enjoyable. When she's not on stage, Shelby works as a Program Manager, passionately dedicated to improving maternal and child health in New Orleans. Balancing her love for theater and her commitment to the community, Shelby truly embodies the spirit of an artist with a purpose.

Maggie Jaunet is so thrilled to be back on the JPAC stage this fall! Her recent credits from JPAS include Ballet Goes to Broadway (Postcard Girl) and Jesus Christ Superstar (Ensemble). Jaunet is a 23’ spring graduate from Loyola University of New Orleans where she earned a BA in Musical Theatre and Theatre Arts. Jaunet, known as “Miss Maggie” to her students, works as a dance teacher and choreographer at Metropolitan Dance Theatre and New Orleans Youth Theatre where she teaches ballet, tap, pointe, musical theatre, and more! Her recent credits as a choreographer include 25th Annual Putname County Spelling Bee (Loyola University ‘24), The Addams Family Jr. (NOYT), and Peter and the Starcatcher (Mount Carmel Academy). As a performer, Jaunet’s favorite credits include Comedy of Errors (Dromio of Ephesus/fight captain) and Head Over Heels (Ensemble). Victoria is very excited to be making her JPAS debut in Jekyll and Hyde. Her most recent roles are Penny in Hairspray at Rivertown, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, and she was also a part of Pippin at Tulane Summer Lyric. She also studied at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where she received a BFA in Musical Theatre. When she’s not performing, Victoria teaches tap, musical theatre, and ballet lessons at Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts. She wants to thank her friends and family for their constant support!

Allee Peck (Ensemble) is thrilled to be part of Jekyll and Hyde. She was last seen rocking out in School of Rock (Ms. Hathaway). Some of her other favorite past JPA productions include Petite Rouge (Crawfish), Nunset Boulevard (Sister Robert Anne), and Avenue Q (Lucy T. Slut/Others). Other credits include The Little Mermaid (Ursula - Overall Productions), Into the Woods (Jack’s Mother - Rivertown), Zanna Don't! (Roberta - See Em’ Onstage), and Marvelous Wonderettes (Betty Jean - RRT). She was a BIG EASY nominee for Maggie Jones in Rivertown’s 42nd Street. During the year, she works with Scott Sauber on Overall Pro shows around the Metro school and Slidell area and was also a Patchwork Player for 3 years. She won Flame Magazine’s Best Karaoke Hosts of 2020! During Covid, she started her own business, DJ AlleeCat’s MEOWvelous Karaoke–a one-woman Karaoke Party experience. Abbey is excited to be returning to the JPAS stage!! She is a former Talented Theatre teacher and current stay-at-home mom (love to Margot & Jack). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Northwestern State University. Rachel is excited to return to the JPAS stage this season. Rachel received her Bachelor ofMusic Education from Loyola University N ew Orleans in 2009. Rachel was recently seen in Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene/Ensemble) and The Ballet Goes to Broadway (Ensemble) with the Jefferson Performing Arts Society. She spent many years as a Victory Belle at the National WWII Museum. Favorite Performances include The Wizard of Oz (Dororthy), Miss Saigon (Ellen), The Marvelous Wonderettes (Cindy Lou), and Crazy For You (Polly). When Rachel isn’t performing, she works as a registered nurse on a neuro stepdown unit. Thank you to Ken and Dennis for allowing her to perform in one of her favorite musicals!
