Matching Gifts

Gift of Stock

One easy way to support JPAS is to donate shares of publicly-traded companies that you have held for more than one year, and you can get a tax deduction for the full value of the stock. An added benefit is that you avoid the capital gains tax you would have to pay if you sold the stock first and then donated the proceeds of the sale! Check with your financial advisor on how you may donate your shares directly to JPAS.
